Young at Heart Festival 2023
Rotary Young at Heart Festival is a series of community cohesion activities on the theme of caring for elders.
Our aim is to increase community awareness about the contribution of older people in society, and increase engagement between younger and older age groups.
Since its inception in 2020, the Festival is in its fourth year.
Honouring our Living Treasures
The Living Treasures of Beecroft Award celebrates intergenerational connections and the contribution of older Australians to society. The Rotary Club of Beecroft invites nominations for Living Treasures of Beecroft 2023. To be eligible for the Award, a nominee should be
-
70 years or older
-
have made a significant and enduring contribution in any field of service that are aligned to Rotary’s aims, and priorities
-
Person must have lived in Beecroft OR made a significant contribution to Beecroft-Cheltenham area
-
Have not previously received Rotary’s Living Treasures Award

Young at Heart - School Colouring and Poetry competition
Our Club, in partnership with primary schools in the area, holds annual colouring-in and poetry competitions.
Colouring sheets and entry forms are available with participating schools.
Prizes are awarded in two categories:

Kindy to Year 2, and
-
Year 3 to Year 6.
Competition starts 14 August 2023 & closes 15 Sept. 2023.
Winners will be awarded prizes on 21 October 2023 at the Young at Heart award ceremony and afternoon tea to be held at Beecroft Community Centre.
