Lucie moved to Cheltenham in 1960 and has been heavily involved with many aspects including the golf club, bridge club, leisure learning programs and rotary.
Lucie retired from a long teaching career which included:

Teacher/Infants Teacher, West Pennant Hills Infants and West Pennant Hills Public School, 1965-1976.

Executive Teacher, Berowra Public School, 1976-1981.

Assistant Principal, Kellyville Public School, 1981-1989.

Day to Day Casual Teacher, Beecroft Public School, 1990-1993.
She has gone above and beyond to make the Beecroft / Cheltenham area a better place for all. Lucie has done so through active leadership and volunteering through a number of community organisations.

At Pennant Hills Golf Club she has held a number of positions including President, Ladies Committee, 2006-2009, and Coordinator/Mentor for Female Junior Cadet Players, 2010-2014.
